Whenever a natural tooth can be saved, we save it. Crowns protect and restore damaged teeth, preserving your natural smile and the function you rely on for chewing, biting and speech.
The dentist first prepares the tooth by removing decayed or damaged tissue and reshaping it so the crown fits securely.
Impressions are taken with digital scanning or traditional molds and sent to our in-house lab, where your crown is custom-made from high-quality materials matched to the color and shape of your surrounding teeth. A temporary crown protects the tooth in the meantime.
At your second visit, the permanent crown is checked for fit, shape and color, then cemented firmly in place. With good hygiene it will serve you for many years.
Your free consultation includes a one-on-one visit with Dr. Yoon, a customized treatment plan, and all x-rays at no cost.
